Default NEC Aile

I have an Old NEC Aile laptop, want to use the 12 inch screen for photo frame backlighting. Anyone can tell me how to light it up ? I have separated the screen from CPU. It seems the driver unit sits next to the screen.

Hmmm, it's quiet down here. Maybe I should rephrase the question.
Here it is, "How to light up laptop CFL backlighting ?"
I know you're an expert. Please help me out.

There should be a small inverter that drives the tube inside the "monitor" housing. I took apart a laptop once and saw it. It's small and should have high voltage warnings. You should be able to power it from those 2 wires going to the invertor.. Not sure what voltage it drives from though..

Exactly. Maybe I should look for the inverter unit (chipset) datasheet to see what voltage it drives..
