I think changing the main subject title is an admin/moderator edit feature only. I wouldn't swear to it, but it's the only means I find at the time.

I found out this same issue when I attempted to update some sales I had going on prior to the switch-over to the new software. I wasn't able to get it to work. Has anyone had any success?

I tried to edit one of my threads in the B/S/T forum, but was not able to change the title. This will make it very difficult to follow the policy of indicating when an item has been sold.
