As divine posted, the Lumensfactory HO-E1A is a direct replacement for your MN01 lamp. These lamps are whiter and brighter than the SF lamps for less $$. I think you will like it.

If you wanted to try using a rechargeable lithium battery in your E1e, the H0-E1R would be a good choice.

+1 for LumensFactory. They have more robust housings with higher CCT (more white) than Surefire bulbs. Many of them also throw farther

A fun option that I use in my E1e is a Streamlight Strion bulb in a FM adapter (made my CPF member, Fivemega), running on 1x AW IMR16340 cell. Quite bright in a tiny package! :D

HO-E1A for 1xCR123 disposable cell
HO-E1R for 1x16340 Li-Ion (LiCo) or IMR (LiMn)
EO-E1R for 1x16340 Li-Ion (LiCo) or IMR (LiMn)

16340 is the the size, R stands for Rechargeable. RCR123a = Rechargeable CR123a = Size 16340, rechargeable, which can be Li-Ion or LiMn chemistry (IMR cells).

My E1e is the light I carry all the time. Here on my place it is ALWAYS in my pocket.

When I leave the Property, whether I am going to Wal Mart or to Africa I carry the E1e and the A2 [along with some other stuff, depending on where I am going...]

Botom line is I ALWAYS HAVE the E1e...
I use it several times every day, and every night, EVERYWHERE.

A couple of monthS ago I installed a Lumens Factory HO E1A bulb, and I REALLY like it.
