Flea Bag, analogguy, fiftycalibre, gncamama, nightvision, DTUB, ez78, jahxman your lights have shipped today(Friday)!!! I will get your info to you tomorrow by PM. Windstrings already has his light but needs his case so that puts us at Dark Vapor through Dcaprilia that we are working on. The second clear coat session for the next round went on the bezels today. These look like they will take four sessions at least to get where I like them.

Thanks everyone for your outstanding patience!lovecpf

I may have a couple more spots open up for the current DEFT but I am going to stop working on the fancy carbon fiber models for a while to try and get some lower priced DEFTs out. Can't say when it will return.
From here on out the current DEFT with the carbon fiber, AR, and many of the other things we do to spruce these lights up will be called the DEFT-Enthusiast. If you'd like you can call it DEFT-E for short. The lower priced model will be the DEFT-FTP. ("For the People") When I started this whole adventure I wanted to make lights that the everyday Joe could afford. At the same time I wanted to make the lights as high quality as i possibly could. This however comes at great expense of both time and money and I have spent unbelievable amounts of time trying to refine the current DEFT, hence the reason I have had to raise the price. The FTP will help open up to a larger group the ability to own the only LED light that truly competes with HIDs for throw. I'm excited! -Michael

they are different animals.... If I honestly need some spill I use my M1X... if I honestly want to see the best I can in the distance, the DEFT is good.

Your case is right here ready for you. We had talked about meeting up to give it to you or I can drop it in the mail for you if you'd like. Doesn't bother me either way.

Hi all, new here but have been reading threads pretty regularly, have learned a great deal from everyone's experiences and reviews. Very interested in the DEFT, have been reading a lot of reviews on throwers. Please pardon me for missing something here, but are these that are on the build list special upgraded models? The reason why I'm asking is, I looked online at the OMG Lumens website and could order one there. Again sorry if I missed it in a thread and thanks to all, wonderful forum with tons of expertise and advice.

Welcome to CPF! Officially any way. My website was made quite some time ago before I was even selling these and most importantly before I knew how long they take to build. The price you see on the site is way off and even if you tried to order you would notice that that function has been disabled. You can still contact me through the site though.

The lights that are sold in this thread are the Enthusiast model. I am going to be offering a much cheaper version of the DEFT called the FTP soon. When I release the FTP it will be in a new thread. We also plan to have built lights that can ship immediately on release. So once the FTP is out then I guess you could say that those on the current build list are getting a special upgraded model.

I am working on a batch of carbon fiber bezels now and those will be the last I do for a bit as we will be turning our focus to the FTP. So there will only be a few more spots open up for the Enthusiast model in the near future. If you would like me to I can notify you by e-mail when I open up more spots for this build list. Since you can't PM yet you can send your info through my site and I will add you.

Thanks for the warm welcome, yes I did notice the order page was disabled, thought it was a glitch and was going to use the contact us option and will do so. Please do notify me via e-mail, for which I will leave the info at your site. Looking forward to reading info and reviews on the FTP, maybe you'll have a chance to do one on one of those Sundays that you can't sleep :>) Thanks again Ted
