This is my first post but I have been looking around on the forums for months now:p
Anyway the reason for this post is I need help picking my next light. I am looking for something in the $150 or less price range. I want a light with the most "wow factor" , preferably the longest throw possible for that price. Some lights that I have been looking at are : Jetbeam RRT-1 R5/R2, Thrunite Catapult V3, Jetbeam BC40, Eagletac M3C4, and the Jetbeam M1X/M1xm. Also I have seen some threads about Deerelight dbs and Tiablo lights but I don't know very much about those. Battery type and size don't matter so much. Basically I want to find the farthest/brightest throwing light for under $150. Thanks in advanced :D

Fenix TK41 is definitely worth a look though it uses 8AA batteries.
Thrunite catapult v3 looks like a winner too.

From the lights that you mentioned, I would pick the Thrunite Catapullt. It has the best " Wow" factor in my light collection. Very good throw and flood.BTW :welcome:

Thanks, the Catapult was the one I was thinking the most about getting, but is there any similar flashlights that I left out that maybe someone knows more about? If not i will definitely look into getting the Catapult

+1 on the 4Sevens Maelstrom S12

Biggest WOW Factor since the size/output ratio is FTW! Its actually the world's smallest light which runs the SST-90 LED.

Though other bigger flashlights can push out 1000+ lumens, but none are as small as this one. Even the veterans here will agree, this is something special. :)

You can still get this copper Maelstrom S12 on ebay since this is only a limited run.

The Fenix TK35 is worth putting on your list, I certainly I've gotten I few wows while using it. It's a massive wide beam and throws well to, it's $100 and I think one of the best buys out there. It's a solid built light that runs on two 18650 or 4xcr123 on max for 1.5hr and has a total of 4 well spaced output levels.

From your list it looks like the biggest thrower is the Catapult. Very close and what seems to be a more versatile light would be the M3C4.

The Maelstrom S12 certainly has "wow" factor. I read another description of it as "portable stadium lighting". Very fitting.

You won't go wrong with either the S12 for the ThruNite Catapult, but if you want compact size with all of the WOW, the S12 is worth a long, hard look.

+1 on the EagleTac M3C4 XM-L - I bought it not only for its huge throw capabilities but also for the multiple output levels making it more versitile than the other choices. Output ranges from 5 / 65 / 192 / 404 / 748 lumens on the single XM-L, and more on the triple XM-L. Great light.
