Hi all.

I was wondering what sort of holsters do you guys use to partner the Haiku HP-G?

I have a holster for my PD-S which was commissioned by CPFer Kazu but he's not around anymore and I can use the same holster as the Haiku is longer than the PD-S.

Currently I just clip the Haiku to mu shirt/t-shirt but due to the grippiness of the Ti-clip, I have damaged a few expensive t-shirts and wifey is very

I have seen AW's offering but is there other offerings that I should check out?

Pictures of your gear and any advice is much appreciated.

Cheers and have a swell weekend

Maybe some knife sheath makers could do ya a custom one. There is that hogokhastan here on CPF, I know I didn't spell his name right, but he could make ya one.

But of course you cannot go wrong with AOTH - but these don't appear to available new anymore. Not many I have include flaps (closed), but the open ones I have found are excellent - no chance of the light following out. The one I wanted to comment specifically on is on the far right. A Pancake holster for PD-S, which also fits LS20, Haiku, Mac's EDC (both tri & sst-50). I'm looking for where I bought it on CPF and will edit post if / when I find it.

I wore it today...

Hogo (Thor's hammer leather) does good work too - he will do wet molded....

Possibly a dumb question, but is there some reason the clip isn't sufficient?

Remove the clip, clamp it in a vise, and flex the end that attaches to the light until the clip has just enough tension to firmly hold your shirt pocket without tearing at the fabric. I adjust every McGizmo clip I get in this manner; maybe if were diving with them I'd want something that could grip super-tight, but even with the clip "weakened" as I have it, the light sits so low in my pocket that I've never had it come out by accident.

Hi all. Just to update. I finally settled for the following nylon holster which I found here.

Compared to the Kazu leather holster, the nylon from AW is really compact. Very nice stitching, full velcro both for the belt loop (with button) and front flap. The following pictures shows how a Haiku is holstered.

Even with the McGizmo clip installed the light enters and exits easily and one handed operations is easily done. It does secure the light very well and the velcro holds everything in place. With the PD-S or shorter lights, the front flaps ride much lower, anyway I am quite happy with this holster and at USD16 shipped everywhere, what is there to complaint :thumbsup:
