... how well can you see the inner trits with the switch boot in place?
That's a great question ... but I don't yet know the answer. After those trits set up for a day the rest of the vials will be installed & I'll post back.

UPDATE: They are pretty easy to see, either from the side or from directly above:

This is my first attempt at milling slots on the Haiku Head. So far I have been milling slots on the SVM Ti. I suppose this was my 'safety net'. I decided that it was time that I ventured and milled a McGizmo Haiku Head. Took me less than a hour using this cutter as I could take off more material each pass.

I think it came out well. Used a Ball nose cutter instead of my usual 2 flute slot drill. Time to go and select the colours...

Sorry for the dust... no matter how much I cleaned it the fluff was stuck on the head.

Very nice Mohan!

Thanks. Now I can go mad with the Haiku milling as many slots as I can fit. Planning to mill slots on the top shoulder of battery tube (7) and 11 vertical slots bottom near the switch. Not having to pay for the slots to be milled is a bonus. The 26 slots would have cost more than the torch it self. The mill is paying for it self. Happy to continue to help out anybody out there.
