^ are those two bulbs in that 9AN?

Yes. The bulb is the N3. The N90 is for the non-turbohead version. This is the original twist the head for different levels flashlight. The low bulb is always on - even on high.

N90:

and BTW, for only 140 lumens, it sure throws far. SureFire got this turbohead reflector right.

FLASHFAN you are a man after my own heart. That is an awesome collection you have there many of my favorite lights and the KL1 Heads very nice too. I have a Silver 6P so whenever you want that 9P to have a little sister let me know and I would be interested in providing a spot for it right besides my Silver 6P I am sure she needs the company. Thanks for sharing.
Hmm, I posted some pics previously, but it seems they got lost in the recent CPF "shuffle." So here they are again.

9P Clear

6PSN

E1: Note old "target" logo, without teardrops on head, and no lockout tailcap

E2 Natural

E2 Satin Gray

Different versions of the KL1 head

Hi,

This is my first post.

I found a Surefire flashlight and I was hoping someone could tell me the model. I looked on the Surefire website but didn't see one that looks exactly like it. I'm assuming it is discontinued and that is why I'm posting it here.

Thanks,

Ed

it looks like a Surefire G2 Nitrolon body with an LED head. I dunno what it looks like inside looking down the reflector but that is a SF

. . . cool!

Not really. It looks cool. But the execution on the SF 9AN leaves quite a bit to be desired for. I still have my 9AN, but SureFire did a much better job with a multi set-up on their A2 model.

Please elaborate.

Main issue is the tailcap switch for accessing the lower output bulb. On the A2 it's much more instinctive.

Nope.

Not when SureFire has a much better U.I. with their A2 and L1 models. Most of the time, you'll find a Milky-modded L1 clipped to my pocket.

From a tactical standpoint, the current UI is much better under stress, which is what this light was designed for.

Hey guys I won an auction for a lot of 3 surefire lights. I am pretty familiar with the bottom two but was hoping someone had info on the top weapon light and filter on the g2 which I believe is IR.

Any info would be great. Thanks!
