low with 301 lms and mid with 250 lms?

You mean low = 30 lms, would make sense!

But anyhow: It's a nice flashlight, remembers me at a Thrunite TN12-2014.

Yep it looks a lot like the Thrunite and the Fenix. It reads as if it will have a really nice UI. If there measurements are accurate and it was priced near the Fenix or below and it came with a nice holster I would jump on it.

Yeah, this looks like my favorite type of EDC. I don't need another that is so similar, but this looks like a very cool light.

Very nice!! Great mode spacing.

0.3 lumens...FINALLY someone got it right in a light this size

Looks like it can tail stand. Thank you!! Was that so hard? (speaking to almost every other manufacturer)

With the TN12 being $49, I'd go up to maybe $59 on this.

I'd prefer a slightly higher low, myself. I've found sub-lumen modes to be inconsistent, and having to jump up all the way to 30 lumens is not great. But I do think I am in the minority...and I don't use moon modes much anyway. Otherwise, I agree spacing is excellent.

The Nitecore P12 and Thrunite TN12 and Sunwayman P25C are all similar in form, and can tailstand. Acebeam is hardly the first.

You can get the TN12 for under $40 now - that's why I ordered one! Just too good a price to resist.

If it is going to be near $60, it better come with a holster. Most of the other models do, and some of them are cheaper.

I wonder if the peak beam intensity is missing a digit also. 12kcd makes sense, 1260cd does not for a light of this size and power.

That was a poke at Fenix

Gotcha . It does seem that Fenix is pretty set on a few things (lack of any real low is the biggest one). You already know what the complaints will be even before they send it out...but still they keep leaving it out. Make pretty good stuff otherwise, though...so I won't ding them too much.

Looking at the Acebeam website, it seems that no holster is provided - just a lanyard

I agree, edc or not,i like a holster, like the benefits for not only carry, but protection whilst or storing.

Luckily i have a few spare, but besides the point,to make a few $ tops and well worthy of adding to the package imho, certainly going against more established(been out longer competition)brands...........in fact,a holster that out does competitors, to give the edge along with price=a pretty certain hot seller imo anyway

1250cd is NOT 223m of throw! It is 71m of throw!,,,,,looks like a pd35 a little bit!.......doesn't throw like it!

...must have forgotten a digit. 12500cd is 223m of throw!

I contacted them about the price. Its competitive but a good holster would put it ahead of the pack.

It's good to see Acebeam coming out with some new products. I hope to see more from you on CPF soon. Your MT-G2 headlamp looks great, too, by the way.

This looks very nice. But I have some questions I couldn't find answers too.

1. How does the UI work? On an EDC light the UI is the most important thing in my opinion.
2. Is there a step down when using the Turbo mode?
3. What tint is the LED and will you be offering neutral white tints?

As an aside, I think it would also be nice if lights like this where offered with the XP-G2 (same driver and drive currents). Slightly lower lumens, but much more versatile.

I think you are reading the L in "lms" as a one.

Mode spacing does seem pretty sensible here. Apart from that it's striking how much this resembles a Nitecore P12.

They must have fixed it. I saw the 301 lms yesterday.
