Re: Sinner Customs - Tri-EDC's and more.

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has else noticed a high pitched squealing sound on the medium and high power levels? I believe I have an earlier copper triple xpl 18350 version.

Not on my sinners. But I do have that issue on my titanium macs tri. Not sure what it is. Would love to know myself.

That would be the current flowing through the LED's making that noise. some are more high pitched that's harder to hear.

I had that issue with my Mac also. I don't have my dinner yet to check, but with my Mac I resolved the issue by taking off the head and tightening the board. I used some needle nose pliers and put them in the slots and gently tightened it:

as the contact surfaces get oxidized more quickly because of the high current flow , cleaning the contacts with rubbing alcohol should get rid of the noise.

Awesome! Glad it helped! My Mac did the same thing when I first got it and it made me want to send it back. It drove me crazy.

My copper 18650 is about 5 hours away from me in holding. Hopefully they'll release it soon so I can put it to use!

I had a surprise in the mail today:

It looks awesome. There are a few machining marks, but nothing too bad. I'm going to polish her up all nice and shiny!

Comparison between the 18650 copper and Mac Tri-edc

THANK YOU Sulman for your excellent communication and product. DEFINITELY recommended!

Does anyone have a source for the pocket clip screws in Ti? Thanks in advance!

is there a speed difference in transit for DHL vs. priority mail?

I'm seriously tempted on a triple XP-E2 :D

edit: are UCL lenses offered nowadays?

I have a triple XP-E2 in a P60 configuration & it definitely throw better than the XP-G2. Much smaller hotspot & spill but of course with lesser OTF lumens.. But that is almost negligible to me.

Hello kadinh. Congrats on your new 18650 Cu light!

Question: what batteries do you plan to run it it?

Thanks!

I got a Li-Ion Orbtronic 3400mAh cell from Amazon to run it. I also have a AW 2200mAh for backup.

Looks awesome! I bought this stuff called Nevr Dull, and it worked flawlessly. Took me about 1 minute and it was shiny as new. Highly recommend it.
