looking for an offroad LED light bar, hopefully someone can steer me in the right direction! I'm new to all of this and don't know what to look for. I was just browsing SuperBrightLEDs and they look pretty good, and i'm satisfied with their replacement bulbs which replaced all my interior lights. But I'm not sure how well the offroad ones will hold up to, well, being offroad. Any horror stories?

I'll be making my own mount so I'm not worried about that. I'm not really interested in building my own LED array however.

Rigid Industries was recommended to me by my truck buddies but I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I'm still holding out for somebody to manufacture neutral tinted off-road leds

Rigid industries is the leading led light bar company. they seem to do the R&D on all the light bars you see on the market. But, they're very pricey. with that price, you get a lifetime warranty and superior quality. If you're not interested in spending oodles of money on auxiliary lighting that you will only use on occasion, you can try good ol' ebay. You'll find bars for a fraction of the cost that come with a 30 day shady warranty and **** poor mounting hardware. It all really depends on the application and the size of your wallet.

I wouldn't say Rigid is the leading light bar company. Check out VisionX. They're a top competitor to Rigid Industries and from my personal experience and opinion, it seems they put more money into engineering a product that NASA would use rather than showing off and advertising to get every subscriber of Truckin' Magazine to buy their stuff.

That's just my opinion though. It's much like a Chevy vs. Ford vs. Dodge sort of thing.

Most of the cheaper ebay lights are pretty good, especially for the price. If you want high end, look no further than Baja Designs.

Very well said. I agree - eBay if you wanna go cheap, Rigid if you want to buy once, cry once.

We did. Check this post on down. They're a top competitor in misinformation and outright lies.

Oh snap!

I have cubes from this company and they work fine offroad.

I'd use Rigid if I hit the Lotto or won something but I wouldn't spend my earned money on them.
Cheap and stinky lights work great offroad. I spend money on real lights that I use for DD on the road. Safety lights.

 Well look at that! So that's for halogen/HID. Does their LED stuff follow that? They aren't putting blue tints on their LED's as far as I know...

They play games like tinting the their halogen bulbs blue, and selling snap-on covers to "penetrate dust" and "whiten your teeth while you drive"1-- what makes you think they won't do the same thing with their LED lights?

1Ok, so maybe they don't do that particular one
