More detail and pictures on the build can be found here: http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb...ou-mod-today&p=4892230&viewfull=1#post4892230

This light requires a hi power IMR16340 battery but will run on a regular CR123 in a pinch at most of the lower levels. I will include one of the newer 15C AW IMR 16340 for US sales.

I will be including all of the original parts which will allow this light to be converted back to a stock Haiku with minimal effort.

Please feel free to post any questions here or PM me.

Price: $500 SOLD

Wow.

I will take it. So much for the camera I was thinking of getting.

Is the bronze look from the stonewashing, just an effect in the photo (lighting?), or anodized?

Please pm me pp details, although I know I have them somewhere...

The slight bronzing in color came out with the oxidizing part of the SW process on this one. I've had others go a little on the blue side as well. Nothing that was intentional. I think the camera is exaggerating it a bit more than what you see and with use it will soften and darken a bit further.

PM on its way.

You know I was just going to post that I cannot even go on CPF sober anymore.

Just COULD NOT resist this. I do really like the bronze.

If you ever decide to sell, keep me in mind. This is one beautiful light!

Wow. One of the best light designs brought up-to-date. It's amazing what a skilled modder can do with today's led/driver/battery technology.

The build thread is not to be missed.

Congrats on a very special light!

The Dr.Jones H17F is probably one of the coolest to come along in some time. The concept of switching between 7135 banks for better low levels, stable high levels, and then having a FET kick in for some direct drive fun is just ingenious. The programming in the lucidrv2 is really excellent as well. A very intuitive and well thought out interface.
