I am not trying to market stuff here, but you GOT to see this king of flood! When I was first hype'd by the idea of having 7300lumens in the hand and size of a Tiny Monster, it is just impossible to stop thinking about it and seeing it myself to compare it with my other crazy lights such as the Tiny Monster TM16-GT and such. I thought we are already at the max-level of lumens, and the market just never stop pumping out more craziness! When can we stop buying flashlights? I guess just like everyone here, it's an incurable disease - The Lumen Chasing Syndrome.
Thrunite TN36-UT is a 7300 lumens flood light, and yes, it's a flood light. I was hoping that it's a thrower! Too bad! The light is indeed super amazing indoor or if you are trying to light up a backyard. It's just WOW and stunning to the eyes to see such brightness from a compact flashlight that is EVEN smaller than a TM26 from Nitecore. The light is just the same design as their TN36 before, nothing much changed in appears, and that I have a problem with. I wish they made it look different, maybe a bezel attachment on top or something? I have trouble finding this light when my TN36 is in the same cabinet!
To my surprise, the light is very warm in color, and the warm is not a bad thing, it just makes the house super warm and cozy, which is a great tone for video and photos! You might want to see how it looks in my video, because I have done some color correction to make sure the color is nice and "real". Hope it shows up well!
Why do we want a 7300 lumens hot potato anyway? I got the answer after a few months using it. Because, we can now have a 3k lumen in the hand without getting our hand grilled. Holding a light that max output 3600lumens is nice, but it gets very hot even after 5mins of usage. With this light, 3k lumen is nothing and it doesn't grill your palm after 15mins of usage. It's a good thing to have if flood light is what you need, and it's definitely a wow-ing light for indoor, factory/warehouse, or other more big but enclosed space. It's stunning, period!
*A side note - I have turned on this light on low mode for over 2 months non-stop right now (except for changing batteries) and it is still working good!
