Thanks again, ven, for your informative post.

I emailed Vinh to ask about availability of this item. I am going for max lumens, which will necessitate using only one battery carrier with the carrier mod, and non diffused domes on.

This item has a bit less throw than the K60vn dome on, and less throw than the MX25L4CvnT XPL pdt DriverVNX2.

This item also has some more throw than the MX25L4CvnF DriverVNX2 XHP50 diffused dome and also a little bit more throw than the M43vn Goldilocks, in a package that is a little bit larger and a little bit heavier than the above four mentioned lights, without being too much bigger/heavier than those lights, but with oodles more lumens and wide beam.

Such qualities should be a nice addition to my collection.
The TK75 will handle heat a lot better than those other lights in a flood Spec.

Welcome rich :) size next to a k60vn

Next to a tn36vn

Quite a bit more mass to play with!

With the way your going with the carrier , you can always buy 2 kits and use them together. For those times when you need (still awesome output)double the run time.

Agree MAD , one thing I notice with high output flood beats, the heat is crazy due to the design. The bigger the head, the better for heat dissipation and for longer runtimes, it's worth the sacrifice of not being as compact IMO .

Thanks for pics. That is a biggie. I ordered the Q70 today, with the carrier mod, so I think I can't use two carriers together, which is ok/fine.

This item is not among the newest, but it looks like a goodie!

IMHO the tk75 is a timeless light (host) anyway, out of all the 4 cell lights it's well up there as an all time fav .....ever. Think back(was it 2013 ish) to the tk75vn killer throw which kicks a55 today . Host wise other than very subtle changes , it's pretty much the same other than now an extra reflector . You are having pretty much up to date LED's in with the xhp70's . It's also the highest output light in its class, only beaten by the larger rc40vnF that has 2 more reflectors and a lot bigger. Even then the F design looks not as floody due to deeper wells.

So I would still say a very significant light today......and well into the future.

As long as you put the modded carrier to one side, take 2 standard carrier (two run time kits with the new knurling or old type of you prefer that !) . Use the 2 standard kits together then you can have double +run time fine. The carrier mod removes the polarity protection so I am going on a presumption (one should never presume !) that it would be a lethal mix if a cell/s were fitted incorrect . Bad enough with 4 cells in the mix(1 carrier), imagine 8! Or it might just be too much current potential with high drains to the driver.....don't know

It can be quite easy to put a flat top the wrong way in poor conditions and not concentrating (I have done it a few times in my ecig mods! As I have a few similar , some take the cell the oposite way and when you have a few on rotation ....can happen(all polarity protected mods).

Enough waffle and congrats rich, it's awesome  Excited for you and look forward to your impressions .:)

Thanks again, ven for your valuable informative post.

Vinh told me he needs a bit of time for this build. Payment sent today. I will post back with my impressions when I receive this exciting item. :)

I think your tk75vn q70 is going to be the bomb. I start to like q70 dome on. Its more cool white... By the way i have tk75 xml pdt, rc40vnf hcri 90, tn36utvn xhp dedome. T6vn xpl pdt, ec50vn xhp 70 dome on, mx25l4cvn xhp 50 on the way.. You can see i have some cool white, 5000k neutral tint. I like them all.

I'm still loving my Q70. It was well worth the money and walking with it at night gives me confidence that I can light up my area clearly and also brings a real grin to my face. I hope you love yours as much as I mine.

Wow, that was fast! Mine arrived this morning, seven days after I sent payment, the old fashioned slow way.

I can't wait for the right time, which is nighttime!

Wimmer would make a great light counselor.
When my light ships quickly, I feel happy.

I feel excited when nighttime is coming soon.

I feel hope that I will soon decide what Vinh light I want next.

I feel sad that I can't keep up with all of the flood on the forum.
