I don't know why but I love doing my mechanical engineering by candlelight. There is just something romantic about it. Creating the lights of tomorrow by the lights of yesteryear.

Um...yeah. I don't think I qualify to be in between those two pictures. There's something funny about the way you mounted it to the wall though. Can't quite put my finger on it.

I have a captor . Wimmer started that joke with the lemax playing with bulbmogul. He knows I'm more into flooders than super throwers.:)

windows screen capture

I just received my Rev Captor from Michael today.

Wow! It is indeed a well designed flooder, going from 3 lumens to 2500 lumens. When you light a room with it, it shows everything more clearly than any other flashlight I have. There ARE shadows, but they are softer than with a regular flashlight. The CRI must be pretty high as well. I'll have to wait until tonight to walk the dog and see it perform. It will probably be safer than a DEFT-X, where one can only see the LED image but not the ground in front of you, since this light is almost the exact opposite; one can see almost everything.

I'd recommend this light highly. Since there are only a few left, it probably won't be available much longer.
