Update

Today is the first release with the web sites new stocking system. It does cool things like automatically placing available heads with available body parts. And pulling stock when adding to cart instead of making you check all the way out to lock in your purchase early.

But that also means orders that stall out for any reason will hold onto stock until the order times out or is deleted. That is currently set to an hour, so several orders that included combo parts were held so additional orders could not be placed early on.

1) I've changed it to half an hour for faster recycling

2) if you wanted a combo and delayed, try ordering it now

3) if you ordered a 35 earlier and can order a combo now, do so. Then request that we refund the first order.

4) If you still don't see a combo and want extra parts, send me a PM or EM with your request. We'll do what we can fulfilling orders this week, based on available parts.

do you have any plans to offer a titanium boss in 219c with amber secondary? that's pretty much my grail so i'm happy to wait as long as i know it'll happen eventually. thanks and congrats on another successful drop!

The Ti BOSS are Grade 5, 6Al4V material from the USA
Any thermal handling concerns ?

Pleased to see what looks like a copper heatsink in there, by the way ... :D

Any comparison testing that can be shared ? Such as "runs on max for ?? minutes less (or more) than 7075Al" , etc

BOSS are also machined in USA (virginia)

Are the 219c 90+ CRI?
When nichia releases new platforms, they start with low CRI and develop better options over time. When choosing low CRI, we only do XPL (for lumens) so we stayed with 219b until better C were ready. But many producers didn't, giving the C a reputation for disappointing color.

100% of v5 nichia are 90%. 219c BOSS have a hand picked bin, with exceptional color accuracy and rendering

Thanks! Options will increase through the winter and into next year. There are no 219c amber in the supply chain at the moment, so it will not be soon.

On level 28 (17W), does the 219C have a similar runtime to the XPL HI?

v5 can't tell what LED is installed so the only differences between XPL and 219c is the C's level 32 power limit. All other modes are available and identical on both versions. In this case, 17w draws the same with the same runtime on the same cells in the same host.

The light are really superb in ti. I'm hurting myself every time I go check if they are still in stock.

Can't justify a fourth v5 light but I can't swear I won't buy it...
