Talking about RS80 I tried to order more but they are out of stock for now :-(

really like messing with this light.

:(:(:( Not cool.

How about the Convoy L2 getting the White2 treatment? It's a linear driver, and the White2 has low forward voltage, so should be able to get constant brightness with 1 26650 for a while. Maybe some power boosting to get its normal 3 amp draw up to 6-8amps?

W2 is kick *** left and right in every light that we can get it in. Well...Once in a while W1 takes the cake like RRT01vn which W1 toally shines in!

What did you do to tame the W2's driving needs? Its low forward voltage makes it so FET fries it iirc. Did you find the right amount of resistance, or driving it regulated to 5-7amps?

Until we have good Buck regulated drivers its like the Scales of Justice. Just add resistance here and there until things balance out just right. Once we add just enough resistance to tame the initial current spike then we are good to go. Just apply the same formula for future builds once its figured out.

Ah, figured so.

So what kind of 'corona artifacts' does the Black Flat give in the T21 that the cslpm1.tg doesn't?
