I'd love to see Fenix revisit some of the old classics as well. However, I think it's important to stress that with new or updated lights, we don't want to see the wheel reinvented.

The updated LD02 is a good example of this. It started as a nice little single AAA light and then version 2.0 comes along and it feels totally different - more of a fancy pen light feel and less of a utilarian EDC type design. Also, adding UV into the mix just didn't feel right. A separate line up for UV would be fine, but I don't see the merit in randomly adding it to various lights, especially those that didn't previously have it like the LD02.

The community is pretty straightforward; they want nice tints, ultra low modes, intuitive UI etc.

Take something like the E01 for example - it's been discontinued and got people talking about why the loved it to begin with. So it's a perfect opportunity to release something that genuinely improves on the old one...throw in a nice, modern emitter. Give us a crazy low 0.1 lumen that slowly sucks an AAA dry. Give us the option of different modes in case we need some extra brightness. There's tons of chances to hit a home run.

There are a number of new lights about to be released. We also received the new catalog today. Let's see what is to come soon. Thanks for being a part of our community.

We also sent your comment to the Fenix engineers.

Hmmmm . . . . .

Looking at the New Catalog,
I see the Fenix E12 flashlight has
an " Invaginated switch " !

;)

Perhaps competition to the Fleshlight ? ? ?

Thank you for this great info. I was going to purchase a few Fenix lights from a store in USA with shipping to Edmonton Canada. I will keep to Canadian stores.
I must say you truly make the best lights. After owning the Klarus XT2CR, Olight M2R and M2T for the last few months I sold two and kept the M2R. I just purchased another Fenix PD35TAC to replace the two I Sold. Now I need to get rid of my M2R to help me get more Fenix lights. After being a customer for what seems to be ten years I won't buy anything but Fenix. I see the dedication you put into your Company and product line to bring earth the best lighting products. Peace and love.

I'm going to bump this question Fenix. Any plans on updating your AA lights anytime soon? I'm starting to see the LD12 get some pretty deep discounts. REI has them for $39 which I'm taking as a sign they're on their way out. Maybe not. Just wondering when we see some refreshes of your tried and true lights!

Hi. You are asking Fenix Store, the USA Fenix dealer. I don't think they are going to answer you.
You should ask Fenix HQ. And I wish you succes in getting an answer.

If you buy from an official dealer, they honor your warranty claim when the light fails.
Most of the time you know you didn't buy from an official dealer AFTER you bought the light.
And AFTER they tell you there is no warranty in it for you when your light fails.
Non-dealers may offer you a better price, but it comes without warranty or spare parts.
