Old bodies are sold out forever :-(

Vinh I think this light is one of the best out there. Sad to see it go but happy it was there! When I first got into flashlights, and a few months in found your stuff, this became my holy grail. I am very happy with my collection of them, glad I got that 219b in there.....

Is the reflector different in the new body style? Any potential changes besides looks?

Same performance. They just wanted to make it look uglier. Completely random design on the new one. Would even look better if they left it 100% plain with no design.

Right now Eagtac is adding a D3C Titanium to their page: the name is already there, but the corresponding page is partial and garbled so far. And no image yet. I wonder how this one will look :)

HOPEFULLY it can take 18350 cells, that's really the only downside to the D25Cvn. If so, I'm gonna have to start another collection......

Gosh, I dislike Eagletac's naming "system." So is the D3C the replacement for the D25C?

It seems like it is, but they are still selling the D25C. It looks much better than the D25C though, IMO, and it doesn't appear to run on any different cells, like an 18350, which would have been awesome. They have a ridiculous amount of overlap and crossover.

Have 2 old style bodies lying around... are these worth sending in for an 'upgrade'?

One was a 2013 Vinh style upgrade with the XPE emitter.. the other stock

I can build a version to run CR123A and IMR16340 version if you want. Output will be reduced a but from DriverVN4.
