I agree with Archi. The C2 cannot be replaced. Just something to consider.

Man, so many seem to really love the C2, and it's like my one light in the collection that seems almost like it doesn't belong and it's maybe the only one I would probably never take with me as my one and only light for the day/night. I feel like I just don't get it.

I've got a couple bored C2s, and would sell every 6P and 9P (and multiple MD2s) I own before letting one go.

Hound Dog Super Neutral has landed...waiting for the darkness to arrive. Liking the tricap on this one.

Thanks for the input on the C2 everyone, I'll keep it around just in case. I did have a couple e1e's and e2e's that I sold a couple yrs ago, definitely regret that move. Oh well.

On a separate note, does Gene ever release TIR heads as drop-ins, or only as pre-assembled heads?

Just got an email announcing the 4th of July sale and the item I want is sold out. This is a recurring theme in my life.
There is always the next time, I hope.

On the bright side, you have got a Ti HDS Rotary. :twothumbs

Which Malkoff item were you seeking?

Had my eye on a Body Guard V2 18650. I was put off a bit by it's price, but a sale would help.
Since turned onto Malkoff, I've never seen it in stock. They may have a supply problem. I have experience with that dealing with HDS over the years.
I may call them and see if I can pay for one up front and get it when it's available??

For sure.

Call them or email them. I'm sure Cathy or even Gene would help you.

It's still almost fully daylight 24 hour here close to polar circle and I long for the autumn to arrive. Around the middle of august the flashlight season starts again here.
The super hound dog is an awesome light and I really looking forward to bring it out again!

I am planning to get some new Malkoff stuff soon. A few tricaps, 1AA and 2AA bodies. Also I consider to get either an M61T or M61Hot.

By the way: I am happy that I got a SurefireC2 and Z2 before it was too late.

Hound Dog 18650 Neutral on the way.

That was my first Malkoff. I bought mine three years ago. It's still my favorite Malkoff flashlight.

Didn't realize quite how far north you are. There must be other flashlight nerds in your city, right?

Part of me longs for winter due to the fact that's its pitch black here by 5:00. But, the winter months in upstate ny are NOT fun.I need to find a happy medium. Dark at 8 warm in the winter.Would it be strange if I relocated because of my hobby? 😁😁

Well, I've tried three ways to contact Malkoff without success over the last 24 hours. Online contact form, email and phone.
I was hoping to work a deal on a Bodyguard V2 with the sale pricing.
I'm guessing they are enjoying the holiday long weekend, as they should.
