Both Micro shipped for you 2. Both came out great. One with a reflector that focused perfectly without needing glue. What a miracle.

Has anyone been able to find alternative parts that fit the Micro? Perhaps a different bezel or bezel material, cap or cap materials, colored switch boots, or pocket clips that fit?

I'm just exploring ideas.

Thanks!

Got my 1.1 yesterday, simply incredible how far this thing throws for the size. It is tiny. :D

Tint is very nice, no complaints. What a fun light!!!

Same, the 1.1 is awesome! I wish I had my W2 to compare side by side, but I gifted it to a relative just a few days before the 1.1 arrived.

I took it outside last night... Absolutely stunning. I've never known something so tiny and lightweight to produce such AWE INSPIRING throw! The beam into the night sky, what a light saber of sorts.... and a useful one at that! No LEP technology can replace the practicality of a LED/reflector combo unless they figure out a way to diffuse/spread the beam focus....

Now if we could just get 150kcd with a similar beam pattern into a Goliath V2vn.... THAT would drive me NUTS. How many years from today? Will it ever happen? Who knows... but I am perfectly content with the Micro GT W1.1's ability and pocketability.

The area where I live, with as many trees and houses nearby, it's hard to find any place in a straight line 700m+ away. The road curves by that time, and trees obstruct view.

For any practical EDC purposes, in my location, I can't see really benefitting from any more throw! A bigger spot however? Sure!

Cant wait to travel to a place where I can make use of greater throw capabilities of the incoming K75vn!

Its so hard to enjoy the throw when the air is never clear enough :-(

Imagine being in Shanghai, every light would have an LEP beam...kinda sad..actually

Can someone remind me, is there a battery discharge current limit for W1/W1.1/W2' equipped Micro's? If not, is anyone seeing higher readings from a 7A cell vs something higher capacity, like the one Vinh sells? The reason I ask is because I'm not concerned with run-time, only output for this particular arrangement.

Thanks!

Patriot, pretty sure 10A is their max current. I would get whatever is highest mAh, I use that exact 14500 for all my "Flat squared" 14500 lights

Pushing emitter too hard?

yahhhh...I was suppose to remove one of the spring out of the tail cap but I cant remember if I did it for yours. Can you check..

Yup...Some lights we maximize current draw...Others we add resistance for them low Vfs

Both springs in there, remove one? Light seems fine on this 9.75A cell tho, I wont run on max till I get some 3A cells.

Light might run fine but you are likely making extra heat and burning extra battery while not making much more output if any.

Thanks Vinh, I just ordered 4 of the Vapcell 14500 3A you just recommended. I needed to order some 18650's anyways for my FW3A's. I will not run on max till my new batts come. :)

These posts have been very informative. It sounds like there's next to zero advantage in running higher discharge rate cells with the Micro and flat whites. Capacity is "were it's at" with the Micro W1.1
