Vinh, how are you shoving a 24mm 4-up optic into a 20mm host, just sanding down the edges?

Valid, very careful shaving indeed! Looks killer.

Easiest way is to put the optics into a blank MCPCB and then use that as a guide to grind away. Hold the combo perpendicular to the wheel.

Might be my very first 21700!! The size looks to be much smaller than the D4, and even more pocket friendly than the E07! And my first triple green glow gasket and tritium vial opportunity it seems as well! I'll just need to find a useful LED/reflector combo to fill a spot that I am currently not filling.

This is a very exciting light! My guess is that it will fill the same roll for a 21700 cell that the FW3A fills for the 18650 cell. It should be very slim and lightweight for a 21700, quite bright until thermal regulation kicks in and have a great feeling tail switch. I don't think it will be a D4S killer, mainly because it will have a smaller head and optics, less heat sinking and a slightly less capable cell. Probably kill the D4S in the EDC role though!

One thing I do like (even tho it's a bit too easy to bump on) is the tail switch because it's way easier to find in the dark than side switches even when they have aux lights in them. I've seen a few fixes for the toeasytoturnon button from rubber boot to 3D printed magnetic tail cap and CF retainer ring and smaller button, but it would be nice if they fixed it in house. Just getting into the car often turns on the FW3 in my pocket.

I am finally getting around to updating the small lights department of my collection.

I just ordered the Lumintop FW3Avn Triple W2.1 + Green Gasket, and also the Emisar D4vn Quad W2.

Thanks to Patriot and everyone who posted and Vinh for helping me choose. :)

Congratulations and you're welcome.

Wooooh! I think the FW3Avn is perfectly scaled to triple W2.1's and the glow gasket is a nice bonus. A perfect, high power, compact when limited weight and size are most desired. I have a stock FW3A that stays in my daypack. My FW3Tvn quad W2 is my edc whenever I'm not working. I really enjoy carrying these lights a lot! I might have to replace my stock FW3A with the same light you just ordered.

The Emisar D4vnV2 Quad W2 is a no-brainer. I think you'd be hard pressed to find a more perfect and classy 18650.
