This one is really excellent to my taste, currently my preferred. Floody, as you see by the numbers, nice white tint, can use 18650, 21700 and 26650. Really high output, very low moon level. Also, the highest level before turbo is configurable. This is quite useful for me. Several recent flashlights have a highest level (149 in Anduril) that's fixed and not enough for my taste, followed by a big jump in turbo. The MT04 doesn't have this restriction.

I'm curious to know which is the highest non-pwm level.

Best compact powerhouse for $85 IMO

Why does the manufacturers' description advise against using a 21700? From the official Mateminco store's site

New tubes available for 26800 battery. The brightness of a Samsung 40T with 7000 mAh capacity.

Thank you sir! Ive got the astrolux tubes for 26800- both of them. Niether will fit my Matemeinco. Cant remember the number but its the one with 13,500 lumen max. I got the smaller Matemeinco, a 7000 lumen, and one the astrolux tubes fit it decently. Honestly I own 5 Mateminco's. The big soda can M18 maybe, anyway got the astrolux tube that holds 8 18650 batteries for that light, and had to modify the end to get it to fit. I like the Matemincos better than the few astrolux's ive got. But Matemeino's doesnt sink up that easy to Astrolux extras. I know Mateminco makes them both, but why doesnt Mateminco just make their own matching aftermarket accesories? Im not a mechanical type and hate to modify or take apart quality equipment. So this is frustrating for me. Did manage to get the 26800 tube of the Mateminco mini 90, 4500 lumen thrower. To me at least it looks a bit brighter than when I was running the 26650 Orbtronic 5750 30 amp battery but Im not sure how that would be possible? Thanks for the info, im a newbie with a love of these new lights and a need for them. Use em every night!

I barely sell any MT04vn and I have no clue why. Its such an excellent light for the money. I thought it would sell great due to the price alone. I guess throwers is where the market is at. I sell more throwers than anything...

I am planning on purchasing a few of these. Waiting until payday. I have several mateminco's and love
they quality and pricing. You would think they would really sell. However a lot of common folks just dont
understand the newer lights. I was one if those folks just a year ago.

I was picky, I wanted higher capacity and the brightness. I started some 26800 battery threads on BLF got the push going and along with another who convinced Mateminco 26800 was viable. Now a few like Convoy, Mateminco, AMUTORCH and Nightwatch are doing 26800 lights. MT04 is a great light make a video show off the tons of modes and its turbo. I own the MT04, MT01, TK04 great lights I highly recommend them to anyone. Get some of the 26800 tubes put your light in a different class. Not one battery for max brightness and another for max runtime. One battery for both. That extra 15mm's actually feels better as it fills the hand.

I own those as well and agree. Thanks for the 26800 push! I got a dozen 26800 batteries, then got the tubes. Still
waiting on the Mateminco tubes and extensions. I have a kyocera extreme flip phone and it taked decent video, but
verizon doesnt support the hot spot links so I have no way to upload pics and videos. Im going to get another phone and
eventually do just that. Im also giving away several lights for christmas this year. Im sure that will add to more
sales down the road. Heck im toying with the idea of making some lights on my own. Just to have them built and
sold in the USA. But for now, after owning acebeams, streamlights, fitorch, and the like I just see Mateminco as
the dollar for dollar champion. I just wonder when the newer tech will outpace the need for new lights. Kind of like
cell phone companies thinking your going to fork over 1500 plus every year for the latest cell phone. For now im
a buyer and a student of this new tech and love it. Thanks for the info!

No idea why a manufacturer would recommend against its own product. Shame...

I use mine with 21700 without problems. Note that this is at the lenght limit so not all 21700 batteries will fit. Flat top is a must but it seems there are some batteries that are longer even being flat top. I use Samsung 30T and it fits perfectly.

Even with 26650 some batteries are too thick; I have an Imalent one that gets stuck...

Need some help here on batteries for the mateminco's with the short tubes. I have several 26350 batteries that I purchased from battery junction a year ago with the fitorch P25 fatty. Got the 26350 fitorch batteries with the P25. None of them will fit the mateminco's with a short tube. Which is the best 26350 batteries to purchase to fit the mateminco with short tube? Want to place order asap, thanks for any info!

Only one cell that I know of, Fitorch has two wrappers and a built in charger. It's 26.5mm diameter and 40.1mm long https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/Fitorch 26350 USB UC20R 2000mAh (Black-Orange) UK.html

Vapcell is 26.1mm by 35mm https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/Vapcell INR26350 2000mAh A20 (Red) 2020 UK.html

And this one https://lygte-info.dk/review/batteries2012/Unknown LI26350C 2000mAh (Purple) UK.html

They all have the same base and the unkown and Vapcell share the same top. Test were all in the realm of statistically close.

Thanks for the info. I ordered 2 of the vapecell that you listed and they are en route. Also went to neilsgadgets and ordered 2 of the imelent 26350's but neils usually take 2 to 3 weeks to be delivered. If anyone is interested I will post if they work in the
mateminco short tubes. I just have a hard time understanding why half of a 26650, (some of which are providing 5750 mAh at 20 to 30 amps) cant provide at least say 2400 mAh at 10 to 15 amps? Am I missing something as a newbie? Or has no manufacture put any kind of value on 26350 size cell?
