I run them in a Malkoff 2x21700 they are quite power hungry.

Draws 44ma on 1xCR123. Curiously, my "M31LL 219B v3" draws 48ma and puts out the same, maybe even less light....seems to me it is actually a M31LLL that got mislabeled. What do you guys think, plausible?
It's a partially discharged battery, tests at 60% on my ZTS mini. I'll test again later on a full one but I'd expect a M31LL to still be fully regulated

I know them 219's are not that efficient but I think even the LLL pulls 70 or so ma. Your getting 48?
Tried with a fresh battery. At 3v it read ~77. Within spec for a LLL, huh?
