I've had my Malkoff Hound Dog 18650 for about six years. Last night, I had the light on but when I switched it off the circuit didn't break. I had to click the switch a few times to turn it off. Never happened before. I keep spare McClicky switches in my parts bin. Is it time for a new switch?

MF, if clicky action sluggish try douching out the switch with CRC electronic cleaner?

It's not the gold standard, but it'll work.

I'm using a 7135 driver…it really doesn't need potted since it's a lightweight driver with tiny components. But I'll do it bc we are super-hard-users.
Right on. I'll have to have you put one together for me.

Does anyone have this dropin?

M61 219B V3.

330 lumens 4000K and 95CRI should be in stock again soon at Illumn. They had a bunch of mislabeled dropins and they couldn't figure out what was what, so they sent them back to Gene. Anyway, I'm going to grab one and a MD2 body when back in stock I think.

In the coin world that makes the coins more valuable.
There's about to be some prized dropins hit the market that have a line etched through the markings and are re-marked.

Does it make better sense to get the cool MDC 1AA and 1CR123 to maximize the output?
I figure most of us aren't restoring museum paintings and maybe CRI is a bit overrated for general use?
