I just tested the hi/lo tail cap from my Elzetta Alpha on both my Malkoff MD2 and SureFire 6P, and while it technically sort of fits -- the threads match, and I can turn the light on -- it leaves several threads exposed (compromising the water resistance) and loses the hi/lo aspect; it's high only.Is it like the sf gas pedal switch? I suppose the elzetta doesn't fit sf/malkoff?
I know there are a couple variations of Elzetta's tail switch, but AFAIK none provides gas pedal functionality. The version I have is high when tight, low when slightly loosened (basically Malkoff, but in the tail), half-press for momentary, click for steady on. I believe there's also a no-latch version with the same hi/lo functionality, just momentary only.
