What about the car?
Would ya purchase one?
It's an easy yes for me.

Reminded of the time I was helping a friend shopping for used cars and had to test drive a Miata because they took a work call. Immediately determined that I was too freaking tall to safely drive that generation - my left leg was pinned between the steering wheel and door giving me just enough range of motion to actuate the clutch. I've disliked Miatas ever since however they ultimately bought another Miata.Mrs Fixer would trade it for a Miata and some ca$h 👍
Ah! We have another DOM in the chat. WELCOME! We meet for leering and beers on the first Tuesday of the month. 🤓What about the car?

Nothing like driving a car that wants to murder you, and is happy to destroy itself in the process! After a crash, she knows she can be rebuilt. They all know....That much weight so low to ground, add 10 sec quarter mile speeds.. Driver's won't need a coffin, they can just dig a hole and bury you and the car
When I still wore cloth diapers there was a neighbor who had given his son a new vette that the son soon after crashed and was killed. That much weight so low to ground, add 10 sec quarter mile speeds.. Driver's won't need a coffin, they can just dig a hole and bury you and the car
Honestly, never understood the mentality of parents who do that. When I still wore cloth diapers there was a neighbor who had given his son a new vette that the son soon after crashed and was killed.
I had a 63 Stingray 327 4-speed, not FI though. Never should have sold it.'63 Split window is my choice, stock fuel injected..
I have, back in 87' I went to the Chevrolet 75th Anniversary Races at Laguna Seca. Met Zora Duntov and drooled over a 64' Grand Sport Corvette.+
knucklegary, have you ever made it over to Laguna Seca for a historic event or race?
Oh yes, many times when I was younger, it was only about 25 miles away from my home. Since I've moved to Sierra foothills, we haven't gone to the races in years.+
