Hi all, title of thread says it all!

Just wondering what the small current AAA flashlight is on the market. 1040, other rechargeable also included in my query.

Peak Eiger or a Tank 007 AAA twisty.

The other small AAA don't take 10440 such as the Lumintop Worm and Convoy AAA twisty.

A true dual-fuel driver needs more room than the size of an AAA battery in diameter so it'll be a tad larger.

Olight's i3E is 2.38 inches long. Current version is rated at 90 lumens but there used to be a 120 lumen silver color version. $9.95 in black. Olight used to make an i3UV, which people have been asking to be put back into production, especially those who live in areas that have scorpions.

I've been carrying an ODG i3E on my keychain for quite a while, with an EBL 1.5V Li-Ion in it. The red one, not the version with built in micro USB charge port that has less capacity.

Many people in the Olight Facebook group say that a 10440 is safe to use in an i3E and kicks the brightness up. If it fries, it's $10 lost, unlike the higher priced i3T that may or may not tolerate a 10440. Not risking my polished stainless steel i3T for that.

A few posts ago I said the Manker E02 may be my next light, and that came true today. Very clever little light and a nice change of pace. It's not my smallest AAA light, but it's close. Actually the little P0 Preon from 4-Sevens is much smaller, but it's only 2 mode. My ancient Maratac AAA is also smaller, but Manker is a clickie. And it has great low modes, a good clip, and the NW emitter is sweet to my eyes.

Small, but not current, and not on the market, I don't think any manufacturer has released one as small as the FourSevens Atom A0 at 2.2-inches (55.88mm). It had 2 modes, 0.3Lm and 30Lm, there was a red LED variant that put out 15Lm, came in either stainless or titanium, was a twisty, and because it sacrificed a spring for smallness, was a battery crusher. Probably difficult to find these days. This is what it looked like.

Also very small, but a hair longer than the Atom A0 at 58.5mm, yet also not matched for smallness by anyone other than FourSevens, but also not current and probably unavailable, also a twisty and iirc a battery crusher with no spring, was the DQG Tiny AAA, 2 modes, 2.5Lm and 60Lm, came in stainless and titanium with XP-G2 in cool, neutral and warm. This is what it looked like.

If I saw either for sale, I would buy them. FWIW, an AAA cell is 1.75-inches (44.5mm) tall.

That's the version 2 i3EOS. Original version had one O-ring and tended to unscrew itself in pockets. I have the UV version of the original version. I don't carry it because the head unscrews quite easily, and it's the first Olight I got. It was a freebie, which of course led to buying more Olights. Help....

The white light black version is often on sale and serves as gifts to entice more victims, errr acolytes (or should it be acolights?) to buy Olights.

nothing much has changed in the 1xAAA or 1x10440 torch world, i still believe that the Ultratac in SS is the best flashlight in that form factor

They cost a little more here thanks to the currency exchange rate but are still a damn good/useful light, I bought two for family (upgrades from 5mm LED fobs), if I wasn't so taken by the Lumintop Tool AA I would EDC an i3E EOS 👍

I was also tempted by the Thrunite Ti2 @ 120lm output 🤔

Sofirn C01 and C01S are truly
Priceless little Gems !

No idea if they are still available new.
I bought several of each of 'em,

Edited to add --
Found a LINK online !
Oh nice. SST's for the win

I have a Yuji acquired second hand so when the Sophie version came out I stocked up. Both were great updated Fenix E01's.

The E01v2 is a bit smaller though
