I know ... flashlight is a little outdated I'm looking to upgrade the head and rings ... any modders with suggestions /quote /pricing? probably leave body stock and power it up with 16650 rechargable cell NW tint ... with 3-4A current draw on high?- bxstylez

FF3 Strobing ?
14500 cells are good up to 1.5 amps continuous draw and they're short as well just get aw imr 18650 cells and you'll be worry-free- bxstylez

what kind of cells are you using? HIDs draws almost 9A before settling down to 4A ... so IMR 18650s is the ideal setup- bxstylez

FF3 Strobing ?
whats your total runtime increased to? the strobing is probably a low voltage indicator with its over discharge protection kicking in so your batteries dont get run down to the point where they cant recharge back up anymore- bxstylez
