    Surefire M3

I recently purchased a Surefire M3 (along with a E1L). I am guessing it was made around 2001 as that is what the paperwork has on it and the condition of the packaging & the state of the lube on the threads. My next purchase will be a Malkof M10, then a Lumens Factory P7 M Head.

    Help! - Flickering M1X

In the tail-cap you will see a ring with two indentations in it, that is the retaining ring for the switch. It is possible that the ring was not tightened properly, was cross threaded or worked loose causing the switch to loose contact with the flashlight when it is shaken. Your description of...

Is Nyogel 760G available in the UK?

Why not get it from Lighthound? Had a quick look & it would be approx 12 pounds for a 10g tube.

    Thieves took my tools!

The padlock is only as good as the hinges, hasp/staple & the door. I have heard several accounts of thieves simply unscrewing the hasp & staple from the door and replacing it when they were done or removing the door by removing the hinge pins or unscrewing them.

how many years can I expect a fluke multimeter to be within its specs

I may be wrong but I believe that most reputable multimeters can be sent back to the company to be calibrated. Edit: Yep they do - Calibration and Repair Services

Do you at times feel as though you’re the “Thread Killer”?

May god have mercy on their souls, for Greta will not. My parents are dead eh4, my dog ate them. (If you play the "guess the movie reference" game, you will win this imaginary box of absolutely nothing :nana:)

    BATTERIES IN A JETBEAM BC20

Why not get the PC20 which is basically the same light (with a few extra levels) and the ability to use RCR123A batteries?

RCR123 cell that is low voltage but good quality?

If they are causing your light to malfunction then you are running the risk of burning out the drivers due to excess voltage. What light is it?

    Advise for charging station please.

I have read both the iCharger 106B+ Manual and the Balance Charge 2 to 12 (Any Li-Ion Type) thread. And after all that I would have to say that in good conscience I could not recommend that charger & wiring harness to a new user. There is just too many pit falls with that setup, either through...

    Advise for charging station please.

Would you recommend that kind of setup for a new user?

    Advise for charging station please.

You will need more than 1 Charger for those battery types Fast charging will kill batteries quicker than slow charging also fast charging can be dangerous for Li-Ion's Most Li-Ion chargers will only do 2 batteries at a time Li-ion requires a different charger to Ni-Mh as they are two very...

how to transfer bulb from flange base to screw base (E10)?

You can't do that with an incandescent as they are usually filled with an inert gas. If you try it you will more than likely find that the bulb will burn out almost immediately.
