Whilst puttin' around on my Harley I found a small quickie-mart store that had three or four CMG Infinity (original CMG's not Gerbers) hanging on a peg hook behind the counter. Did the CMG Infinity Ultra ever use Nichia CS LED?
I hope the Gerber Infinity doesn't do the same thing two of my Sonics did...the lanyard ring is attached to the twisty endcap on the new infinity (please correct me if I'm wrong) I lost two Sonic bodies by having them on my keychain. The twisty just untwisted it self and the body just fell off...- Dreck

I don't want to stoke the fires of this discussion...however when is the last time you saw an American-made product besides the Surefires? Every small appliance I see at the stores coffee makers, mixers etc. are made in the prc. Don't forget, every purchase we make of products from there...- Dreck

E1B Optic stress cracks?
It came this way right out of the package. I kind'a "noticed" them when I opened it at first but this was in broad daylight. I thought they were just reflections. Like I said in my first post, my KX2 has some also...but only two and one's pretty long. Apparently these are passing S/F's final...- Dreck

I was showing my friend my new E1B and he asked "what kind of reflector that was around the LED and what was that star thingy in the middle?" Of course I said "star thingy?" Upon further inspection I noticed if one looks into the head straight-on there is what looks like radial cracks coming...- Dreck
