Any light similar to modlite plhv2 but with a low mode?

a dual mode option will be the malkoff m61hot flashlight. obviously it doesn't have as many lumens and candelas as the phlv2 but do the job very well.

the old design was good, but in my opinion it was lacking in terms of grip. the new design is prettier (personal opinion) but still lacks a better grip. I believe that's why many users wrap the lantern with rubber. a more aggressive texture, elzetta bravo or surefire 6p style would do well...

Your thoughts on Malkoff MDC AA

    head mdc cr123 with 2AA host = ok because each AA is 1.5v 2x 1.5v = 3v head mdc cr123 with 1x 16340 or 1x 16650 or 1x 14500 or 1x 18650 = NOT ok 1x 16340 or 16650 or 14500 or 1z 18650 is 3,7v 3,7v > 3v

damn it. it must have been a heavy fall. thankfully the malkoff service and guarantee are exemplary.

interesting. I think this also prevents the battery from hitting the dropin hard in case of falls... I prefer this barrier to be on the tailcap as mcclicky is more fragile than dropin which is practically bullet proof.
