    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

The bar hasn't announced "last call" yet have they, lol? I went with the Surefire 3V cells & charger combo, that should end it...now I need a "waterhole"! I'd "bet the farm" Cyclops has a battery division, so I still have no idea why China would make a product with obvious liability concerns...

    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

https://www.batteryjunction.com/xtar-mc2.html This is apparently wrong then, go to the link and look under specs.

    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

It appears that the XTAR MC2 will also do 3V RCR123? I understand why the designation is meaningless when they can refer to cells from 3-3.7 volt, but at least now I know I can't use 16340.

    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

My plot sickens. I appreciate the CPF patience with admitted "dummies"...I nearly went down a rabbit-hole! I asked the guy who recommended my laser light what he uses...ULCR123 Ultralast, which I recognized immediately as the LiFePO4 chemistry you warned about putting in my XTAR ANT. I don't...

    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

I just rechecked Walmart website. The EBL cells I'm referring to are listed as such: EBL 16340 RCR123A Batteries 4-Pack 2800mAh Rechargeable CR123A Lithium-Ion Batteries Arlo Batteries for Arlo Cameras, Reolink Camera, Flashlight[/H1] $8.59

    Recharging for dummies?

I'm only shopping for 3.7 volt CR123 rechargeables, as I was unaware that less voltage options existed. The light came with an Energizer Lithium 123 primary if that helps. I think they're 3V, but before I even considered using rechargeables I checked with a friend who has the same light and...

    Recharging for dummies-part deux!

Since the answer to my other post appears to be "yes" (XTAR MC1 Plus compatible) based on RCR123a being 3.7 volts, I'm browsing for a couple of batteries only if my charger will work. It seems that most RCR123a's are between 700-800 mAh until I came across some at WallyWorld (EBL's) listed at...

    Recharging for dummies?

I have an X-tar ANT-MC1 Plus that I recharge all my 18650's and 16650's. Can I use it for RCR123A?

Green rail mounted predator light recommendation

I thought the site used to have a hunting sub-forum, but I did not see one. Looking for recommendations on a green, Picatinny rail-mount capable predator light for a huge coyote problem (legal in my state). The options are legion and I'm looking to cut to the chase! (pardon the pun)

    Dummy rechargeable swap ?

Is it practical to swap rechargeable sizes you have too many of for rechargeable sizes you need in the classifieds, i.e. 18650 protecteds for 16650? Or is the USPS going hemorrhage when I answer the question honestly that I'm shipping Lithium batteries? Ground by Pony Express is fine as long...

    Am I hosed?

Warning "headlamp dummie alert"! Lat fall I Got a Boruit HP300 LED for the green to use during hunting season going to the stand in the dark. I was pleased with it during the fall, but tried to use it this weekend up at the happy hunting grounds and it wouldn't work. It's been about two months...

    Wind: Seeing is Believing

You can't argue when you can see it happening. I bowhunt the Blue Ridge Mtns. Where the fickle winds are constantly pooling eddying and changing directions. I've been at it long enough I would consider myself an above average judge of wind direction/speed without pulling out my talcum bottle...

    Any Boruit users?

Anyone with Boruit experience/impressions? I rolled the dice on a Boruit white/green LED rechargeable headlamp. The green is for hunting season travel before/after light. I'd not heard of them nor do I know anything about it. Selection wasn't huge as I guess green demand is pretty much a...

WTT Surefire 6P LED emitter for rechargeable battery

My EagTac P200LC2 runs a single protected 18650 li-ion cell with the protruding positive terminal. I also run a single 18650 in my rechargeable headlamp, but that cell came with it and it's at my happy hunting grounds, so I can't verify it.
