do you remember to charge your flash lights during the day?

I tend to discharge my batteries from use. So I only charge them when they die to make sure that I get the best charge on the battery.

    SureFire EDC1-DFT and EDC2-DFT

I ended up buying the EDC1 DFT when it was over 200 bucks, now I am seeing them for 168. (shakes fist in anger)

    Opinions on Jetbeam

I have been debating getting an M30 flashlight which is basically a copy of the surefire M6. It is just shorter, LED only and comes with 2 18350 batteries. It is really tempting. I am hoping someone owns one and can tell me about it.

    Mn01 rarity

I just buy the Lumensfactory brand. They are usually brighter and give longer run time. It is how I keep my relics running.

    Cars, Man

I guess its a bit of nostalgia for me, but I remember my second car. I got it from a government auction and it was a 1990 Chevrolet caprice with a small block 350 that was throttle body injected. It was a fun car that never passed emissions. The trunk leaked, the headliner I had held up with...

True cost to run EV like paying $17.33 per gallon if not for $22 billion in government subsidies.

Funny story, the works department at a local college ended up buying one of these all electric vans thinking it would be great. Until someone drove it and didnt figure out the mileage in their head and it died a block away from their distribution center. It took a small generator and a plug in...

True cost to run EV like paying $17.33 per gallon if not for $22 billion in government subsidies.

I remember talking to a retired DOT worker who advised me that the reason roads and highways arent not improved to reduced congestion was to push more people to start riding mass transit. So if that thought process was from the late 80s into the 90s, I dont imagine that it has changed much.

True cost to run EV like paying $17.33 per gallon if not for $22 billion in government subsidies.

I think the major point I was getting at was that batteries arent what we want them to be and the sourcing of the elements to make them/the ability to recycle them is not any better for the environment than using oil products. My personal belief is to invest in hydrogen power because of the...

The true cost of the battery powered car is ruining other countries for the precious metals to make the batteries and then not knowing how to recycle the produced batteries. I remember reading about how Japan has still not figured out how to recycle the batteries from the 1st generation Prius...

    Surefire E2D

I guess that would make sense. This one that I got has more of a purple/black bezel and tailcap. The body is definitely black in color.

    SUREFIRE FURY DFT LIGHT FLICKERING

I hope mine doesnt burn out. Its quite the bright and useful light. Just doesnt fit in any belt holster for some odd reason.

    Bizarre & Horrifying Maine Shooting

Well to add to this, couple of major things happened over the years. The supreme court ruled that you cannot force meds into someone unless they are a danger to themselves or others. Up here in the PNW we had a change in rules on how many staff members would be required per patient for care. It...
