    Good budget P60 host

Late to the party, but I like the Blackhawk X6. Made in Spain with a forward clicky switch. Thread sizes are slightly off but work with my SF lights for lego-ing.

Is the G2/G3 the only non-metal P60 host available?

My Nitrolon post would probably be better here: Blackhawk X6P and X9P. P60 and SF thread compatible. Forward clickie tail cap.

    Nitrolon is underrated

The Blackhawk X6P and X9P are made in Spain plastic incandescents using P60 size modules. I liked the aluminum X6 so much that I bought 3. Forward clickie tailcap and SF thread compatible. $20 eBay. $36 Amazon

The vintage California cop light company thread

Everybody was excited when I first posted those catalog pages ... ten !! ... years ago. The page with Norm Nelson didn't load; I'll try again. I'm a user/accumulator/pack rat more than a collector. I've simply kept the things - and catalogs - I had years ago. Obviously, I'm not very active...

And again, don't know how long these will be good, but for now ... pages from the 1979 Safariland catalog showing the Kel-Lite flashlight line.

What to do with 2AAA Maglite??

Confirm recent good luck with both Energizer and Duracell making good on damage with a check. Didn't even have to return the item as in the past. On they phone, they've taken my word for it. Last time, online with Energizer about a flashlight failure, they asked for pictures.

Pelican 7000 2x123 - glued or screw on head? Still looking

Re: Pelican 7000 2x123 - glued or screw on head? Still looking for an answer, if anyone knows. Thanks.

Pelican 7000 2x123 - glued or screw on head? Still looking

First generation, 600 lumen Pelican 7000 2x123 lights are showing up cheap, and I'm tempted. But first - does the head readily come apart? Is the LED module part of the head or a separate near-P60 compatible module like the M6? I like my 1xAAA and 2xAA Pelican lights, but they're all glued...

In the same vein as the Tekna as transitional 1980's cop lights: Not the first DL123 light, but MY first DL123 light, the UKE 2L, here rebranded as the Buck Lite 2L, from the late 1980's. The UKE 2L was a Candlepower favorite. Price was about $20 with the major cost item being the batteries...

The plastic Pro-Lites came from a gun show 10+ years ago. $2 each, or thereabouts. All but a couple were orange. I bought a dozen. A few had the factory lens with ridges to diffuse the beam, but most had no lens. Mag-Lite lenses were slightly larger in diameter but were easy to grind down...
