Are there any NIMH low discharge 9 volt batteries?

I got my hands onto this, it's a LSD 9v nimh from uniross. You can find more info in uniross website. I will do some tests but I dont have enough time right now. I have a hobby charger so I can measure capacity and make a 30 day self DSC test. But I will post results on this thread! Nice to see...

    Replacing 3S LR44 button cells with li-ion?

I measured capacitity of AW 10180 liIon with a hobby charger at discharge current of 0.1 amp = it was only 65mah :( 3XLR44 is around 120mAh at 4,5v 3XSR44 is around 180mAh at 4,65v so do not discharge more than 130mA! Is the math done correct?

    Replacing 3S LR44 button cells with li-ion?

Wikipedia states LR44 maximum height as 5,4mm. 5,4x3=16,2mm. 10180 is 18mm. I think it might fit some devices with a loose spring but not ones with a tighter fitting. Has anyone tried this yet? I just might order 10180 and a nano charger to try out

    Replacing 3S LR44 button cells with li-ion?

Is it possible to use 10180 li-ion cell in a device designed for 3 X LR44 / AG13 in series? The size is almost the same and voltage too. Opinions?

The Ultralife Lithium 9V Smoke alarm challenge

Re: The Ultralast Lithium 9V Smoke alarm challenge I have heard that typical high capacity lithium 9V block cells such as ultralife can last ten years in smoke detectors ONLY IF they are test beeped once a month.. Otherwise cells get empty sooner just like alks.. Dont remember was this from...

Are some CR2025's exactly the same ?

These cells as many other CR2xxx are likely to be branded cells made by maxell since maxell is world's biggest coin and button cell manuafacturer. Their factories are in japan. Wholesale price for these batteries in europe is appx 0,20-0,30 euros per cell excluding VAT.

    Varta's 15min Charger

I have this varta 15 minute beast which has worked very well, better than I expected! I use varta Ready2Use batteries which are similar to eneloop cells. Works together great! I havent noticed ANY damage to batteries yet. Varta "eneloops" are considerably cheaper than sanyo eneloops at least...
