With All Of The New 1 x 18650 Throwers, Is There Now A New King 1 x 18650 Throwers?

Yeah. I turned the stock M2X into the M2Xvn with XPG2 PDT and it throws like no other single 18650 light can. The down side, of course, is the light lost spill. But that's okay, I use this light for a specific task like security or harassing people. :)

Klarus XT11GT high frequency hissing sound

Mine with XHP35 HI led doesn't do that. Try exchanging for another one.

Looking for a flood in 18650 or 26650

You should look into Olight R50 Seeker. Very impressive wide and bright beam. Great for hiking and camping. You can search for reviews in this forum. Also, check out some YouTube videos. I should add that Nitecore MH20 is a good compact 18650 light for hiking and camping. I personally carry a...

    I -Thought- I Wanted a Klarus G20, But...

15l vs 60l is the reason for the battery life. The beauty of this forum is that people will find out what the true numbers are. Right? :) I am a throw snob so these floody high lumen lights don't interest me. Waiting for Olight and Klarus to come up with XHP35 HI lights to compete with Acebeam...

    *NEW 2016* Nitecore R40 - Rechargeable XP-L HI 26650 Light

Acebeam EC60's head has the same diameter and its reflector may be slightly shorter and yet it throws 600m with XHP35 HI. So this light isn't impressive in terms of brightness, throw and runtime. Nitecore needs a new light to take on EC60.

Acebeam EC60 Video Review and Comparison Other Single Cell Thrower & Big Lumen Lights

Re: Acebeam EC60 Video Review and Comparison Other Single Cell Thrower & Big Lumen Li Paper? Not a wise move! Paper could cause fire when it gets hot. Rude comment removed. Please read CPF Rule 4.

    *new* Klarus XT11GT: XHP35 HI D4, 2000 lumens, 1 x 18650, distance 402 meters

According to Klarus, 1300lm if you are NOT using their supplied battery. Perhaps, they are testing without using the customized battery?

    *new* Klarus XT11GT: XHP35 HI D4, 2000 lumens, 1 x 18650, distance 402 meters

GoingGear is still selling. Mine works fine without issues so far. The fact that I can compare side by side with my XT11ST, I can say the XT11GT delivers as advertised!

Been out of the loop, what is a good pocket thrower for 100-200 dollars?

Sorry, I don't own this light. But I do own two Nitecore's SRT series lights. The SRT lights have variable brightness adjustment but it utilizes ring instead of two sensors like this light. I can imagine two sensors adjustment being much easier and more superior than the ring interface. The...

Been out of the loop, what is a good pocket thrower for 100-200 dollars?

Unusual UI? Not really if you already own a variable output ring light. Perhaps, it is innovative as they claimed! :). 360 meter throw is very impressive for a cr123 light although I'd imagine runtime would be very short.

Been out of the loop, what is a good pocket thrower for 100-200 dollars?

Nope, the MH20GT takes regular 18650. Zebra mkiii, on the hand, require a smaller unprotected 18650 from what I read in this forum. I agree CR123 limits options. I understand the OP's feeling. I was one of those people that resists on using 18650 light as long as I can remember. But once...

Been out of the loop, what is a good pocket thrower for 100-200 dollars?

You must be kidding! For a pocket thrower, Nitecore MH20GT is the current benchmark. Zebra makes floody lights with orange peel reflector. I own a sc600 mkii and I don't plant on getting another zebra light including mkiii. I simply don't like Zebra UI! OP, both sc600 mkiii and Nitecore MH20GT...

Is there a light that can compete with the zl sc600?

MH20GT easily replaces my sc600mkii as far as real usage and versatility is concerned. I don't know what all the fuss with mkiii. It uses the new XHP35 HI and yet it only puts out 1100lm which is what mkii is already doing with the old led XM-L. The MH20GT is not only throws much much further...
