    Not so fast! Two reasons Jedi didn’t fight for that light last Friday.. 1) Olson lost about 500 lumen from stock 2) The tint is 6500K which is too white for Jedi’s taste. Hopefully, throw gains significantly. I don’t want a pencil beam though!

    Italian guy tested the light and the results are: Low: 25 Med: 506 High: 1280 Turbo: 1836 Lux: 74K (542M) http://www.cpfitaliaforum.it/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=13739#p218309 Not too shabby for a small light. I suspect the result could be better with a high drain unprotected cell like iJoy...

    When dealing with Lithium battery, I nerver charge them when I am away because charger could fail without notice. It happened to my AA battery charger and luckily nothing happened. Also, avoid charging Lithium at fast rate like 2A. Fast charging increases risks and reduces battery life.

    Olight should consider adding a true low mode - that is 10 lumen or less. Also, Olight needs to release a throwy light that can compete with Acebeam EC60. Perhaps, R50 Amateur with XHP35 HI emitter?

    I don't know about you but my Jedi eyes can see the brightness difference between protected cell and low resistance IMR cell, even with the stock light in turbo. A protected cell has much higher voltage sag compared to a good IMR cell like Samsung 30Q even with the low discharge rate of 3A...

    Please toss the battery away. Whenever I damaged my battery wrapper whether 18650 or even AA, I toss them away. Saving a few bucks is not worth the risk of compromising the safety. Samsung Note 7 fiasco shows how dangerous the lithium battery is.

    What's the recommended IMR16340 battery for this light? Any issue for using IMR16340 battery with the stock driver? According to the spec, the operating voltage is 1.8V-6V. Any issue for the IMR16340 when the stock driver drives down the battery to 1.8V?
