    Does the mailman have yourLS20?

Or instead of trying to "catch a wave" (ordering one) you can post a WTB (want to buy) in the B/S/T Custom and Mod forum The cost on most of these lights will be $500.00+ Try and figure out what your illumination needs or actual uses might be before you jump in. Do you need a light for...

    LunaSol 27 Wave**Sold Out**

LunaSol 27 arrived safe and sound in Utah. I've already played with it a bit in a darkened room and :wow: it really is an amazing light. It fits perfectly in my AOTH holester.

Unless I miss my guess, I think you mean a KROMA, not a U2.

    Lunssol form factor

Re: LunaSol form factor I was fortunate enough to recently pick this holester up in anticipation of the LunaSol 27 wave. I hope Matt is willing to work with the new LunaSol owners. Having a viable (and stylish) carrying mechanism makes a world of difference for me in whether I carry a light or...

how do you use your Mule?

As far as I know there were no McLuxIII-Mules offered in Aluminum. Of course I could be wrong about this. There is of course the McLuxII Aleph McClicky mule (The body and head are 6061T6 aluminum.) in black and EN nickle finish.

I Am So Glad That I Have A Ti PD-S

Sorry to hear of the loss of your PD, loveit. It really sucks to have such a gem stolen. At least you didn't abandon it in a bathroom in a Georgia mall! :poke: Keep your eyes peeled in the Custom and Mod B/S/T forum - they do appear there from time to time.

Can the AMC Mule use the 2-stage McClicky?

The Oil Can Mule indeed refers to one of the two variants of the latest Aleph McClicky-Mule or AMc-Mule wave. The two finish optiosn are regular EN nickle finish and black nickle finish. Don says in describing the new black nickle finish that it is, "mottled, distressed, milky, bronzed, aged...

    This is not good.

:thanks: for the update, it is very welcome :D, but disappointing :( to the many of us who were patiently waiting  (hoping) for a wave in the very near future. Plan A is :poof:, but we are all heartened that there is a plan B. At least those of us who are :broke:, will...

    My first McGizmo... (PIC Heavy)

You can contact Matt at www.artofthehide.com and ask him. He use to make a holester for the Ti-PD-Mule that was smaller than the regular PD-S holester. I don't know if the regular PD holester will fit an Aleph mule. His email address can be found on his site. Good score on the Mule...

    My first McGizmo... (PIC Heavy)

There is a difference in lights between what is offered at the S. Shoppe (Alephs, HD45s, and McLuxIII 27LTs) and what Don offered in the past and now offers in his "waves." The light in this thread, McLuxIII Ti-PD-S, cannot be purchased from the Shoppe. It typically sells in the $500-$600...

    My first McGizmo... (PIC Heavy)

:welcome: A McGizmo creation is as good a place to start your flashaholism as anywhere. The light is a McLuxIII-Ti-PD-S and as far as I know Don has no more plans to make any. There are some that are offered for sale from time to time on the Custom and Mod Buy / Sell / Trade forum from other...

    Two headed Monster

The PD-S is probably a better overall choice, but it depends on what you want your light to do. I have a Ti S27-PD running at 750mA. I prefer it over a PD-S even though it does have a bigger head and uses batteries a bit quicker. The clincher for me is that I like the way it throws for a small...
