Here's a Thrower ...real actual field tests !

My brother sent me this review link today http://vimeo.com/6168576 Thought it was rather interesting, and the flashlights' price "today only" was 19.95 on woot.com  :naughty:

    >> Novatac Registry: Proclaim your ownership!

My 85p died after just over a year and 2 batteries. (used mostly on low outputs) I've sent it back 2 weeks ago to NovaTac to see what they do about it. It just didn't light up anymore, was off, in my pocket, nothing unusual and no issue with loose / dirty tail contacts or tail switch or...

    TK11: First impressions and thoughts

Thanks Jarl. Very good review. I have the TK10, and having a textured reflector adds a decent softer spot with a little more spill apparently contributing a bit more spill vs the TK 11's reflector. Have you or anyone else, had the chance to compare the difference real time on a bike with the...

    Fenix TK11 (18650)

I like using my TK10 And would probably like the smooth throw on the TK11 too... versus "all the other tactical" lights on the market... ... due to the particular grip ring and tail cap switch styles. I've not been able to use most other "tactical" lights with an auto pistol (45acp)...

Fenix booth at Outdoor Retailers (pics!)

Cool pics! Nice to see David's Fenix booth so well equipped! Can you imagine what that place would've looked like if the house lights were all turned off for a moment and a room full of light freaks did a quick ceiling bounce test... what a light show that would have been! :faint: thanks...

    Novatac USB programmer

Will be interesting for the tech aspect of what you find out thanks! Another model noted: I tried to 'get into' my P3D interface. I manually operated the push button as fast as I could tap through, I must admit I'm not sure whether or not I 'clicked' a couple times early into it, or just...

    Novatac 120P Clip Installation....STRANGE

Yep, If it is not moving it'll not wear marks into the ano. But can it? Hmmm, the clip appears to be a form of a dark parkerized finish with a clear coat anodize over it. So some spinning then next some light scuffing of anodize on anodize till it wears and cuts through to the body's base...

    Novatac 120P Clip Installation....STRANGE

Hi senna, After you unscrewed the tail, then removed the o-ring, Did you reinstall the o-ring last? Then re-screw the tail cap back on? I'm not trying to downplay but I had to ask. My first attempt on installing it I found the spring load just a bit too much too, so i bent it ever so slightly...

    Novatac 120P Clip Installation....STRANGE

My 85p arrived yesterday, top service from Lighthound considering I had just ordered last friday I was still in for first batch shipping status. For my intended options and uses, the clip is fine, as my earlier post wanted to speculate in the positive. The form follows function to a T. I don't...

    I dropped my Fenix

whoops, hate it when that haapens! glad it still working !! I have a slippery P3D ce body in natural finish that i have trimmed out grip tape inserts to fit the flats, grip tape from skateboard decks. Sticks well onto the flats for really secure psuedo knurling effect. You can trim it with...

    Novatac 120P Clip Installation....STRANGE

I'll also wait before I condem the clip design. I use clips on my small lights as finger grip braces for a more secure grip in addition to knurling and this 'loose' open loop at the end looks like it makes a good third finger grip ridge. Also with the end being paralell to the light's body...

    Got my Novatacs Today!!!

Thanks for sharing your stoke OpticNerve! That's the kind of romance story a true hobby collector loves to hear. I really enjoy it when i've had chances to go and view top collections, just not had a killer flashlight store/collection visit experience yet. I am very pleased to have ordered a 85p...
