    Penguin: Changing the battery had no noticable effect. Good idea, though. Paulr: Is it true that the AAA's LED is overdriven? For some reason I thought I remembered reading that it's underdriven. I'd be interested in Peter's thoughts on my brightness question.

    Arc Flashlights

    I saw one of those laser engravers being demo'ed at a woodworking show last weekend. Very cool! In addition to metal, it can also be used with wood, paper, glass, and who knows what else. And only $22,000 each!
