Sharp looking light! Looks like a very practical format too. Below is my Frankenlight. I figure if CPF ever has a "Ugliest SF Lego on CPF" thread then I have a good shot at it. From head to tail it is a Z46 w/ MN11, LF C to M adapter, Leef 2x18500 body, HDS/Novatac pocket clip, TNC Detonator...- R.VanWinkle

Great to hear it! Lights I use on our nightly dog walk I always recharge batts afterwards, so it isn't an inconvenience for me. (I just got a new Vinh Quad and it sucks an 18650 dry in 20 minutes if I get too overenthusiastic.) I'll try to send a pic tomorrow; my wife is the resident...- R.VanWinkle

Hope to hear how you like it! I never spent much time comparing MN10 to MN11. At work we had the choice of either, and I only spent one night comparing the two. I stuck with the MN11; only drawback was keeping a mental log of when to change out batteries. Of course it helped that Uncle paid...- R.VanWinkle

ebuchner, I just wanted to say I have been running 2 x 18650 with an MN11 in a Frankenlight for years with no problems. The only bulb I had pop on turn on was an old one that had been noticeably dimmer for a while, and looking at it through the lens of the bezel the envelope was visibly...- R.VanWinkle
