    Malkoff Picture Thread

A Malkoff light I had years ago and stupidly sold is a light I’d love to get back - Wildcat V2. An MD3 or MD4 body would be perfect. Anyone out there with one they’d like to sell, let me know.😉

VME head, M31W (early production with the neutral tint) with 2AA body and CR123 lanyard body.

    The Malkoff Front Porch

Here are a couple of oldie Malkoff combos I find myself using regularly.😉 1. Old school round Surefire 6P with a hand engraved M61W / 18500 combo. 2. VME / hand engraved M31W (1st series with more of a ‘neutral tint’) with either VME AA body or VME CR123 lanyard body for a more pocket friendly...

    Malkoff Devices--User Programmable Flashlight

My perfect Malkoff light: Head tight-maximum output. Head loosened - low mode that has a programmable output level (24 output steps + 2 level strobe & SOS available). I personally would never use/need the strobe & SOS modes but some would find it handy). I’d like to be able to get into the...

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

Wow, thanks for the info. I had no idea how small the new heads are. Although I miss out on a low mode and bezel ring, I think I still prefer the simple reliability of my old VME head / 1st release M31W (neutral tint) with either my CR123 or 2AA twisty bodies. Although the VME heads are bigger...

The Official Malkoff Junkie thread - Part 2

So are the MDC heads smaller and lighter than a VMA head/M31 combo?

    Malkoff "Hound Dog"

Re: Malkoff "Hound Dog" coming soon! For sheer throw, the HD is the obvious choice. I don't really need a thrower so I will probably just stick with the Wildcat V2. I go running most nights up Mt. Gravatt here in Brisbane. The Wildcat V2 is an almost perfect running light with that huge, wide...

    Malkoff "Hound Dog"

Re: Malkoff "Hound Dog" coming soon! Soooo, how does it perform - is it a classic thrower? Anybody care to do a Wildcat V2 / Hound Dog comparison? Damn that nice, deep reflector looks fine, James....

    Malkoff MD4 Wildcat

Well Guys/Gals, My Malkoff Wildcat head has arrived!!! And it's a beauty - much smaller than I imagined. The quality, performance and compact size of the MD3 is unbelievable. After a walk/run last night, I can report that the light is almost 'too bright'!!:twothumbs The low mode (40 lumens...

    Malkoff XP-G 260 OTF lumens 2~3D Mag drop-ins...

That's why I said that I live in Australia. Check the Malkoff website, anywhere outside the U.S attracts a $35.00 US shipping charge - from a single 'O' ring purchase up to a Wildcat purchase --> always $35.00 USD. I currently wish to purchase an MD3 body & tailcap. The shipping charge almost...

    Malkoff MD4 Wildcat

To all you Wildcat experts, how is the beam quality compared to say an M60 or a Malkoff Triple Q5? I have recently become a M60W MC-E convert due to the extremely powerful yet beautifully smooth beam and unfortunately, after using this dropin, my old M60s' beam is looking a little ringy in...

    Malkoff XP-G 260 OTF lumens 2~3D Mag drop-ins...

I got that email too. Does this mean all new Mag drop ins go up to $65 when they are upgraded? With $35 shipping charges for every item you purchase from Malkoff, I think I'll pass and pick one up at the CPF MarketPlace next month.

    Malkoff MD4 Wildcat

I don't know where you read that!? One of the most popular combos for the M60 is 2 x RCR123's. The M60 can take up to 9.00 volts so 2 x RCR's or 3 x CR123's are just fine. James....

    Malkoff MD4 Wildcat

Great video with a very good comparison of the different size lights available - you very rarely see so many lights in a direct comparison such as this. P.S. Do you have a blue beanie too?
