    So you intend to spend more money (E14 is a lot more expensive than D4) on a light that is not as good (much less bright, lower quality bad UI (compared to D4), etc.)? I don't get it.

    No and I don't see the point in having one. Don't get me wrong, the E14/S41/S42 is a great light (I have several and love them) but there is an even better one (D4) available now.

    The ballooning button problem is supposedly only affecting the previous model (EA4).

    That info is good enough for me, thanks! Strange really not using high CRI for such a light, makes it a lot less useful for work light when you need to be able to get good color rendering.

    The pictures shows something not everybody is aware of: High CRI helps more than some extra lumens when it comes to be able to see details.

    They also need to be button tops. (18650GA with the raised flat top (standard) also works.) 25R (button top) and GA (standard) are the cells I've used successfully in my MK34. 30Q (button top) were too long to fit.
