HID from a 12v bike battery?
It's one of the '85w' flashlights that sell all over including ebay. I havn't got many details. Ballast input 9-16 volts. 7800 lumens. Not much I know. All I want is the forward part of the flashlight on the rifle with a trailing lead to the battery at my waist. The battery is ...- hybridfiat

HID from a 12v bike battery?
Id like to run the HID/lens set-up, without the bulky battery compartment; off a waist mounted Lithium M/Cycle battery for hunting. That way I can mount the light under the barrel or forestock. Is that possible by just wiring the battery through a switch to the terminals of the light?- hybridfiat
