2-D Maglight P7 Conversion: Quite Disappointed - HELP!
I figured. I dont' mind learning though. I'm clueless on the current paths, what is drawing what, etc. So I'm definitely learning. So converting to 3-Cs should do the trick....hopefully. I just know that my current setup is not even close to the 900 lumen possibility that everyone keeps...- w8kbrder

2-D Maglight P7 Conversion: Quite Disappointed - HELP!
I checked the screw...its tight and in the proper place. Looked over the soldering and connections to make sure no metal was touching that wasn't suppose to. Also slid the switch housing back a bit to look inside and make sure no wiring was lose. Everything seems to be in the correct place. Lets...- w8kbrder

I'll work on getting those up tomorrow. When you mention ground screw, are you referring to the allen head screw that tightens the switch body and keeps it in place?- w8kbrder

2-D Maglight P7 Conversion: Quite Disappointed - HELP!
So I embarked on my first P7 conversion. Followed the 38 steps DIY exactly. Made sure all of my contacts were soldered good. Double-checked to make sure negative was connected to neg and positive to pos. Used AccuEvolution NiMH 1.2V 10000 mAH batteries. Needless to say the final light output is...- w8kbrder
