    Those batteries are way over priced, I agree that these are probably just re-badged AGMs. Check out the Odyssey line of batteries, they are highly regarded in some motorsports racing circles (http://www.odysseybatteries.com/).

    Not for a long long time based on the videos I viewed and the limited information I was able to Google up. Between the size of the device and the "puckks" I don't see the the advantage. Maybe if the puckks are super light there would be a weight savings for hikers but I don't see much of a space...

    New Rayovac CR123's

    I have not had very good luck with Rayovac in general, I have not had any experience with their CR123 cells. My issue with the Rayovac brand is leaking cells. I have had numerous devices destroyed or at least messed up by Rayovac cells. I will not use them.

    Rumor of Eneloops being Discontinued as part of Sanyo-FDK Transition?

    I tried zapping one of the cells in a 14.4v Craftsman drill pack. It allowed it to show a positive voltage after charging the first two times. However, the pack has now dropped in voltage by around 1.2 volts and acts just like it is an eleven cell pack. I think that bad cell just shorted, is...
