    The Official Zebralight Thread

I just looked it up, and I've been carrying the same Zebralight SC62w for over 7 years now! Maybe it's time to upgrade. I like the permanently-attached clip and the overall size. Is the 64w a worthy upgrade?

Good point. And... for $30.... I'm tempted to buy one just because.

    Feniex (Not Fenix) Guardian

Looks like Feniex has released a flashlight. Feniex is a company that makes emergency vehicle lighting.... https://feniex.com/scene-lights/guardian_flashlight. Looks pretty "meh" to me, spec-wise. Also, Micro-USB in 2021?

*2016* ZebraLight SC63 and variants like the SC63w

I'm considering buying one of these... I feel a little tenuous about using unprotected NCR18650s. I know, there's protection in the flash light... but anyway, I'm thinking about using IMR batteries. How do those perform in these lights? Anyone using them?

*2016* ZebraLight SC63 and variants like the SC63w

Is there any possible way to run a protected battery in this light? I'm not that keen on running unprotected. Convince me why I shouldn't be concerned!

recDNA: I would be interested to hear the story of your venting rechargeable.

Poll, what battery chemistry do you use most?

If you look at my signature, you'll see I have some of each. My current EDC lights are 1xCR123A. I don't use 16340s because a) They're lower energy density, b) Eagletac says not to in this light, and c) I don't have any. I have a few 2xCR123A/1x18650 lights. In those I generally use 18650...

LOL not even close. It's an MT2A. I will edit my post to correct that.

Your top 5 lights to handle all needs

I don't have any fancy modded lights, but here is what I like. EDC: Eagletac D25C Clicky (2014 Titanium version, XP-G2). This light is very compact, being a 1xCR123A light, but it has moonlight, low, medium, high, so it's got a mode for every situation. Small reflector with XP-G2 so it throws...

Has anyone here found their perfect EDC light?

Eagletac D25C Clicky. I have the titanium version and the regular version, both I believe are XP-G2. Great lights, very compact, deep carry pocket clip. You can't go wrong. One thing I would like is a 2xCR123A/1x18650 version of this light with the same deep-carry clip. The D25C2 Clicky...

any new info on the Nitecore EC11 & EA11?

The site says that this light is compatible with CR123As and IMR 18350s. What about standard RCRs? Will they work in this light or will the light detect it as an IMR because of the voltage, and then overdrive it?

Armytek Pro Models - What Are Your Settings?

I was thinking about a very similar configuration. The difference is that I wanted to start high with the head tight. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk

Armytek Pro Models - What Are Your Settings?

I just received my new Armytek Viking Pro v2.5. Trying to figure out how I want to customize it, and I'd like some ideas. Have you customized yours, and if so, what are your settings?

    P60 Dropin That's ~1000 Lumens on 1x18650/2xCR123A?

I'm seeing some 1x18650/2xCR123A lights out there that are claimed to be about 1,000 lumens OTF. EagleTac has a few. I'm wondering if there are any P60-style dropins that meet these specs?

    EagleTac D25A Clicky

That is a shame. I hope that doesn't start happening to my D25C clicky.

    EagleTac D25A Clicky

It's when you turn the light on to a low mode, but it briefly flashes brightly before going to the low mode. Four sevens lights are famous for that.

    EagleTac D25A Clicky

Is the pre-flash specific to the D25A? I have a D25C clicky that I bought last year... I think it is an XP-G2. No pre-flash.

EA8, you gotta really love AAs

In my mind, it's safety. NiMH cells are safer than lithium primaries or lithium ions. You don't have to track voltage and you can beat the crap out of them.

Quark Pro QPA - Why such run time even with lower max output?

Do foursevens lights still have that pre-flash issue? My QTA that I bought on Black Friday last year does.

EA8, you gotta really love AAs

Recently, I have been of the opinion that it is a good idea to have lights that support a variety of battery types. I have lots of Eneloop AAs and a few AAAs. I also have lots of CR123As. I have some 18650s as well. I would like to also add some NiMH D cells and a light that supports them...
