    newbi question but why does increaseing the output to double reduce the runtime to a third? Is it just that the batteries don't like being run at teh high currents are are they less efficient?

    how do those cells hold up to the high current drain? I'm currently running 24 of them to power my bike lights (14.4volts and 5.4ah) and am wondering just how hard I could push them (currently have two 20w 12volt bulbs) I'm wondering about maying a 4D ROP with either 12 or 14cells

    I'm in a slightly better position then you in some ways. I'm using some casing from some Knightlite lights which used 6volt bulbs. I've been using the standard bulbs using either a 20watt flood or a 20watt spot for some time now and didn't have any trouble. run time has been enough for my needs...

    I've been tinkerin with my bike lights and want to make some further changes. at the moment I'm getting the bits to make a more efficient battery pack. The plan is to build a pack using 24AA cells giving 14.4volts with 5Ah I was running 14cells giving 16.8 but I think the cheap battery holder...

    another newbi question how easy is it to fit 8AAcells in the 2D cell body? I thought you could fit 3AAcells per D cell.
