Best Responsible Resellers for Zebralight With Great Customer Service?

I've ordered from ZebraLight 4 times, each time with the same positive results. I've seen no appreciable cost benefits to ordering from a retailer.

NiteCore Infilux IFE1 XPG-R5 Overview - Lots of Pictures

Re: NiteCore Infilux IFE1 XPG-R5 Preview - Lots of Pictures Well despite the less than stellar reviews I had to have one. It arrived today along with 100 pack of Ray o Vac CR123's which were in my opinion a very good deal, but I digress. As expected fit and finish, machine work are top notch...

Best (brightest) light for nightly 20 minute walk?

I take a walk on my rural property(36 acres) every morning and night with 2 of my dogs. It is the high point of their day as well as mine. My default light is a Lumapower MRV SE Q5. It is absolutely reliable doesn't require alot of bs to change modes(which I rarely do )and throws an enormous...

    Single CR123A Keyring Case

These http://www.stockcap.co.uk/stockcap_thread_protection_caps.html are what I use. I use the short vinyl ones and put two of them end to end on a battery and drop in my pocket. Cheap, easy, lightweight and effective. I scavenge mine for free and you can probably do the same but here is a...

What's wrong with assisted spring opening blade (kershaw)?

Nothing at all. I currently carry a Spec-Bump(CPM154), before that a Green-Bump(#31),before that a Random Task and before that a Blackout. This equates to thousands and thousands of hours of carry time and hundreds of hours of use. I have never had one open accidentally and have never had a...

    Clicky or Twisty?

When they work properly I prefer a clickie. That being said if I had only one light and absolutely had to depend on it it would be a twistie. So I vote twist based on reliability.

Would you buy a Fenix P1 with a clickie?

No. One of the reasons I bought it was BECAUSE its not a clickie.

    watch recommendations

I have the Traser 6502 w/no date. Has gained about 3 seconds since I got it (about a month) so is plenty accurate for me an I love the tritium. They can be ordered at the link above for $139 and are a super good deal in my opinion. From now on tritium will be required on all future watches.

    Keychain Capsule for 123 battery

These are what I use to carry an extra 123 cell. Two of them completely encapsulate the cell and add very litle in dimension while providing excellent protection. I scavenge mine at work but they are available in small quantities at a very attractive price...

Which is the better buy, E2E-HA or KL1+Vital Gear? + Useable runtimes

Re: Which is the better buy, E2E-HA or KL1+Vital Gear? My edc is a new (4th?) gen KL1 and VG1 body. The VG body is at least as well made as the SF. Fit/finish is excellent+ and the clip design is as it should be. The SF clip halfway down the body, bezel up is bogus at best.It appears to me that...

Pic of BM 806D2 + Kershaw Avalanche

CPM440V = S60V + when properly heat treated= wickedly sharp. Kershaw does a fine job with this steel, it is very easy to sharpen and takes a "toothy" edge.440V responds well to diamond hones in the 200-400 grit range. I don't like partially serrated knives and have little use for them (YMMV of...

    Advice Needed: SMALL multi tool.

For a GOOD mini screwdriver set without excess baggage look at the Victorinox Cybertools specifically the "29" model.Excellent TOOL at an affordable price. No gadgetry just "tool".For little pliers there is no better on the market than the original Leatherman "Mini".Again no excess baggage but a...
